Health notes: State nursing group to celebrate anniversary in Duluth
More than 250 nurses from the Minnesota Organization of Nursing will convene in Duluth this fall to celebrate “20 Years of Shaping the Future of Health Care through Reflection and Action.”
The Oct. 2-3 conference at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center recognizes the achievements of nurses within the organization, which formed in 1994 and focuses on providing quality health care and affecting the future of health care in Minnesota.
The conference will feature presentations by national and regional leaders in nursing, as well as a ceremony honoring two yet-to-be-name nurses with the Moline Award for outstanding contributions to nursing in Minnesota.
The Minnesota Organization of Nursing is a chapter of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, which was founded in 1967.
