Friday's weather for Duluth and the Northland: Scattered storms possible


FRIDAY: A low-pressure system pushing into southwestern Minnesota will give us mostly cloudy skies and a 50 percent chance of scattered storms.
SATURDAY: The low that brought storms on Friday will move east over northern Michigan. A stronger low to our north and west will bring west-southwesterly flow that will warm us up to 81. There's a 30 percent chance of scattered storms.
SUNDAY: The strong low will move south over the Northland, bringing cloudy skies and a 50 percent chance of showers. A trough in the jet stream will build southward over the eastern states, cooling us off.
MONDAY: Our temperatures will be on the lower-than-average side.
