Friday's forecast for Duluth and the Northland: Mostly cloudy, with a good chance of morning snow
TODAY: Expect a 40 percent chance of snow in the a.m. for the Twin Ports. The Arrowhead will have lingering snow showers throughout the day. Skies will become mostly cloudy with a few breaks to allow some sun in by afternoon. Winds will be strong, out of the northwest at 10-20 mph.
SATURDAY: A ridge of high pressure will move over the Northland in the upper levels of the atmosphere. Highs will be in the mid-40s with partly cloudy skies.
SUNDAY: A strong high will nail itself to Hudson Bay, and a low will park over Nebraska. These two systems will battle it out for the next four days. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a 20 percent chance of showers in the afternoon.
