OAKLAND, Calif. — The Minnesota Twins were deadlocked 1-1 with Oakland through seven innings Sunday, and they needed someone to step up and keep the A’s from beating them for a 13th straight time and sweeping them for the second time this season.

Not one, but two former A’s came through to lift the Twins to 6-1 victory at the O.co Coliseum.
