Fire damages Gnesen Township home
A fire caused an estimated $75,000 in damage to a home in Gnesen Township early Tuesday.
A neighbor reported the fire just after 1:30 a.m. The Gnesen, Rice Lake and Normanna volunteer fire departments responded and extinguished the fire, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office reported. The residents of the home have been notified.
A detached garage and shed were not damaged on the property were not damaged.
The state fire marshal’s office and the sheriff's office are investigating the origin of the fire.
