Faces & Names: ‘State of Affairs’ loses Bernero
Katherine Heigl’s upcoming series “State of Affairs” has had a shakeup.
Ed Bernero has exited the NBC drama due to creative differences.
Bernero exited the series over creative differences, the individual said, though the exit isn’t related to Heigl, who serves as an executive producer as well as star on the series.
A replacement for Bernero has not yet been chosen, though production is continuing on the series, which is slated for a Nov. 17 premiere.
The series stars “Grey’s Anatomy” alum Heigl as a CIA attaché who counsels the president — played by Alfre Woodard — about high-stakes incidents around the world.
