Area residents who have a family member living with a mental illness have an opportunity to learn more about mental health issues and how to provide support. The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Minnesota is holding a 12-week course in Duluth this fall that aims to give families a better understanding of mental illness by discussing communication techniques, stress reducers and potential resources that can mitigate problems that stem from mental health problems.
