Eh?: Don’t read and drive

The United Way of Greater Duluth’s Big Red Bookshelf joins Duluth Super One stores for a book drive starting Aug. 10.

People can donate new or used books suitable for newborns up to third-graders. People can place the books in the big red bins at one of the Super One stores.

The drive helps stock books at numerous United Way Big Red Bookshelves in Duluth. United Way wants to collect 25,000 books. They are at their midpoint.

If residents miss the book drive during Aug. 10-17, then they can drop off their books at the United Way of Greater Duluth office at 424 W. Superior St., Suite 402.
