Eh?: Autism walk nearing
The eighth annual Autism Walk Northland is coming up Sept. 28 at Public Schools Stadium.
Just as with any other type of charity walk, registrants can go through their family, friends and community looking for pledges, or set amounts of money people will donate for the walker. There are two lengths, 2.5 kilometers or
5 kilometers (1.6 miles or
3.2 miles respectively). Walkers can indicate which school’s autism program they would like the money to go to.
There also will be activities for kids, a silent auction and there are rumors of food, too.
To register, go to autismwalknorthland.com.
