Duluth reception will showcase UMD business programs
UMD’s Labovitz School of Business and Economics will hold a reception this week in downtown Duluth, showcasing the school’s programs and how they can help local businesses succeed.
The afterhours socializing event — from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in the atrium of the Duluth Technology Village, 11 E. Superior St. — is open to the public but geared toward the business community.
Some of the University of Minnesota Duluth’s best business students will be on hand, talking about their projects and how they apply to today’s business climate. The latest news on what’s happening at the business school, and its specialized programs, also will be presented and how they can apply to various businesses, including marketing, financial markets, financial planning, health care management, graphic design and entrepreneurship.
The event — which is free with no reservations necessary — is sponsored by National Bank of Commerce.
