Michael Joseph Krzyzaniak, 65, and Gerald James Greenfield, 68, escaped from the prison on March 30, 2013. They were apprehended six days later at a Bloomington hotel.

Krzyzaniak, who was serving 151 months for wire fraud and tax evasion, pleaded guilty in June. Greenfield, who was serving a 50-month sentence for conspiracy to commit money laundering, pleaded guilty to the escape from custody charge in September.

Krzyzaniak was sentenced on March 28 by U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson, according to court records. Greenfield was sentenced Tuesday by Judge Patrick Schlitz, the U.S. Attorney’s Office reported.

Both men faced a maximum of five years in prison for the escape. The 18-month sentences will be tacked on to the end of their previous prison sentences.
