Douglas County rollover results in arrests

On Sunday morning, Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported one-car rollover near County Highway A and County Highway B in the Town of Superior.

Two subjects fled the scene and were later apprehended at a nearby residence. Kevin Weil, 26, of Superior was charged with operating without a valid driver’s license. Passenger Kaitlyn Grathwol was arrested and charged with obstructing and a warrant for failure to appear/forgery.  

A hit-and-run accident was reported on Sunday at the Crystal Lake Public Boat Landing in Wascott. The legally parked and unoccupied vehicle of a Superior woman was struck by an unknown vehicle.
