Diane M. (Buck) Sobczyk 68, of Duluth, passed comfortably on Tuesday, July 1, at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by family.

Diane was born at St. Mary's Hospital in 1946 to Ken and Edna (Cullen) Buck.

She was active in 4-H and sports as a youth and graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1964. She worked for the State of Minnesota for over 25 years and enjoyed bowling leagues at Ridgeview Lanes for many years. She raised her children Kristine and Michael primarily in the Duluth area. In November, 2012 Diane moved to Sartell where she lived with her nieces Nickole and Tammy. Here she enjoyed spending time with family and babysitting her grandchildren, Nicholas and Emma. Diane also enjoyed sharing stories and memories with her family and friends.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Edna (Cullen) Buck, her husband Richard Allen; her daughter Kristine Sobczyk; and her sister Margie Graves.

She is survived by her son Michael and Shelley Sobczyk and twin grandchildren, Nicholas and Emma of Brooklyn Park; her brother Ken and Becky Buck of Hermantown; many nieces and nephews as well as a great number of great nieces and nephews and her lifelong best friend Tony Entriken.

VISITATION AND MEMORIAL SERVICE: 10 a.m. to 12 Noon Saturday, July 12, 2014 in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, followed by a luncheon. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery following the service luncheon.
