Darol James Dosh, 59, of Duluth, passed away June 9, 2014, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

Darol was born in February of 1955 in St. Paul to James and Ruth Dosh.

He was raised in Woodbury, Minn., and graduated in 1973 from Park Senior High School Cottage Grove, Minn. Just after graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force doing his basic training in Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, and his Technical School training in Lowery AFB in Denver, Colo. On Oct. 9, 1982 he married Florence Erickson in a ceremony at her father's home in Maplewood, Minn. He served in the Air Force and was stationed in Edward AFB, Calif., Hahn AFB, Germany, Nellis AFB, Nev., Minot AFB, N.D. After his discharge in 1988 he and Florence lived in Minot, N.D., Stafford, Va., Moose Lake, Minn., Duluth, Hawthorne, Nev., Glendale, Ariz,, and Duluth.

He was a member of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club called Wing Nuts in Minot, N.D., winning two show trophies for Florence's motorcycle. He built and launched model rockets, he enjoyed collecting coins, fixing computers, and Do It Yourself Home Improvement jobs.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Darol is survived by his wife Florence; two sons, Michael Lee and Gregory Royal both from Minot, N.D.; sister Gladys Sheehan and brother Duane Dosh both from St. Paul.
