* A construction permit to begin work on a 46,000-watt FM radio station in Duluth has been granted by the Federal Communications Commission. The station has been assigned the frequency of 92.9 mhz and will be located at the College of St. Scholastica.

* After a five-year lapse, Duluth’s summer school theater will resume with the presentation July 18-20 of the musical “No, No, Nanette.” The production will be in the Central High School auditorium, directed by Central teacher Antoinette Nebel.

* Three years and $4 million after the first plank was laid, the 3-mile-long Duluth Lakewalk is nearly completed. A celebration to open the section from Leif Erikson Park to 26th Avenue East will be held June 15.

* Beginning this fall and for the first time in Minnesota’s 23 years of moose hunting, annual moose hunts will be held. Since 1971, moose hunts have been held every other year in both northeastern and northwestern zones of the state.
