Best Bets: MPR’s ‘The Current’ live broadcast and concert

Personalities from Minnesota Public Radio’s all-music station will broadcast its signature style of indie, cool and local programming from the latest Fitgers’ sibling biz.

The Current, with Morning Show hosts Jill Riley and Steve Seel, will be at Endion Station in Canal Park on Friday for a show that includes interviews with Mayor Don Ness, Mimi Parker and Alan Sparhawk of Low and Trivia Mafia.

The Current airs on 89.3 FM in the Twin Cities area. It is available for streaming online at thecurrent.org.

Later, the crew heads to The Red Herring Lounge for The Current Does Duluth, a live concert featuring Low, Tin Can Gin and Sarah Krueger.
