Bayfront Blues Festival has the festival biz on lockdown: In its 26th year, the local fest is a finely tuned machine that sends blues fans bouncing from main stage to acoustic tent and back again without missing a single second of steel guitar.

This year’s three-day event — which starts Friday — features more than 30 acts between the two stages at Bayfront Festival Park.

Headliners include Los Lonely Boys, Canned Heat and Robert Randolph & The Family Band.

Los Lonely Boys is Henry, JoJo and Ringo Garza Jr., siblings who released a self-titled debut in 2003 — and won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance. The band has played Big Top Chautauqua.

Canned Heat is a longtime L.A.-bred band that adds a boogie-rock twist to the blues. The band, with a regularly changing lineup, has worked with the likes of John Lee Hooker.

Rolling Stone has called Robert Randolph one of the greatest guitar players of all time. He’s collaborated with Eric Clapton and Carlos Santana.

Some of the returning favorites include: Lisa Wenger, Reverend Raven & The Chain Smokin’ Altar Boys, Annie Mack, Mick Sterling and more.
