The locally grown boutique record label is celebrating its second birthday with a bunch of bands playing on two stages.

Chaperone Records’ Block Rockin’ Birthday Bash features nine bands playing The Red Herring Lounge’s stage and outdoors at Bent Paddle.

There is a four-band bill at The Red Herring, an after-party that includes Fever Dream, Hippocampus, Witch Farm (featuring members of Southwire) and BNLX.

There will be activities for kids, glass-blowing demos, food trucks, live painters, a photo booth and more.
