A&E Notes: Headliner chosen for Duluth reggae festival

Morgan Heritage, with a special appearance from Jemere Morgan, is the headlining act for this year’s Reggae & World Music Festival, organizers announced earlier this week.

Also in the lineup: Kevin Lyttle, Da’Ville, Lutan Fyah, 9 Tomorrows, Natty Nation, Kofi and the Fire Keepers, Irie Sol and DJ Sound of Fujan.

The festival is July 19 at Bayfront Festival Park. Tickets are on sale at bayfrontreggae.com.

Morgan Heritage is a longtime reggae band formed by the children of Denroy Morgan, a Jamaican artist who was part of the NYC reggae scene in the 1970s.
