A&E notes: Country’s Josh Thompson to play Clyde Iron Works
A Wisconsin-born country singer who has been in the biz since the late 2000s will play a show at Clyde Iron Works in October, Twin Ports Nightlife announced earlier this week.
Josh Thompson, who has had hits with “Won’t Be Lonely Long,” “Way out Here” and “Beer on the Table,” plays the Lincoln Park venue Oct. 23. Tickets are $23 and are available at Beaner’s Central, Electric Fetus, Clyde Iron Works and twinportsnightlife.com.
Breanne Marie & the Front Porch Sinners opens the 18-and-older show.
Thompson is touring in support of his album “Turn it Up,” which was released earlier this year on Show Dog-Universal.
