Local robotics teams Esko High School's Subzero and Duluth East High School's Daredevils tested their handbuilt robots against machines from across the country during April's World Championships in St. Louis. Subzero captained the seventh place alliance in the Daly Division and made it to the semifinals where they fell in a tiebreaker match against the third-ranked alliance. The Daredevils finished 36 out of 68 teams in the Darwin Division.
