Area sledders finish ice racing season

Twin Ports KCPro East ice racers finished their eight-race season in March. The youth snowmobilers ages 4-14 race their snowmobiles on an oval ice track on frozen lakes throughout the region. Points leaders for each racing division included: Brianna Wells in the Beginner 120 and Amateur 120; Owen Jorgeson, Amateur Kitty Cat; Colton Grahamberg, Stock 120 and Stock Kitty Cat; Peyton Emerson, SuperStock 120 and Improved 120; Nicholas Wells, Improved Kitty Cat; Presley Tapani, Pro 206 2; Jace Podgornik, Classic Champ and Champ; and Jake Jorgenson, 340 Number 1 and 340 Number 2.

Minnesota North jump serves for two championship trophies

Minnesota North volleyball served two championships during its home tournament in March, Megan Bailey Memorial, when 15-1 Navy aced the 16s Gold Division and 12-Pat conquered 12a Gold.
