A team of Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College-Ashland students earned third place and won $1,000 during the Interprofessional Healthcare Case Competition in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. The team members are Megan Colberg of Cornucopia (right) and Della Thompson of Ashland and the Bad River Tribe. Colberg is pursuing an associate degree in nursing and Thompson is studying a double-major in gerontology and aging services.

The Knaus family of Duluth seeks financial donations for Jerry Knaus, who is undergoing treatment for stage four metastatic cancer. Jerry is a 1994 graduate from Duluth East High School and is married to Suzie Knaus. Together, they have six children under the age of 13. Donations can be made at Email or for details.
