Northland Job Fair seeking employers to take part
One of the biggest job fairs in northern Minnesota — the annual Northland Job Fair in Duluth — is coming up next month.
And the event’s presenter, the Minnesota WorkForce Center in Duluth, is looking for more employers to be on hand to talk to job seekers about current and future job openings in a wide range of fields.
Typically, more than 75 exhibitors participate in the event, which can draw 1,000 job seekers. Employers who issue W-2s at the end of the year are eligible to participate, which excludes many independent contractors and real estate professionals.
The deadline for employers to register is Thursday. To register, visit mn.gov/deed/events/NJF16. For more information, call (218) 302-8406 or email: email@example.com.
The job fair, now in its seventh year, is free to job seekers, who don’t need to register. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 5 in Pioneer Hall at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Parking will be free.
