Road trips: Making music in Mahtowa
The 11th annual Highway 61 Folks Festival is Friday through Sunday at Rob’s Tavern in downtown Mahtowa and features a mix of musical acts. There also is a pancake breakfast served up with gospel music by Mahtowa Covenant Church at 10 a.m. Sunday.
The shows are free and open to the public.
Saint Anyway kicks off the weekend with a show at 8 p.m. Friday.
Music starts at 4 p.m. Saturday with Colleen Myhre, followed by the Holy Hootenanners and the Longshots.
