This award-winning script begins in San Diego during the Gold Rush of 1870 and centers on a misguided journey to the Great White North. A drunken minister who has lost his faith, a greedy saloon owner, a pregnant ingénue, and a Canadian gold miner are featured in this comedy. The four form a bedraggled troupe of desperate players who head north to perform in British Columbia. Cariboo Magi is a refreshing take on the Christmas story and will have the audience rolling with laughter.
