Historic Civil War drama, spangled with comedy, by John Schroeder, is based on the true story of Joseph L. Hall, a Union soldier. An entrepreneur in the late 19th century, Hall delights in trading the childrens buttons from their clothing for a candystick. Children losing britches, bewildered mothers, and a partner whose sweets inventory is coming up short. Veterans Day performance 2:00, Nov. 11 at Reif Center. Veterans tickets are free. All other are $2 and available at the door.
