Veterans Memorial Hall, program of St. Louis County Historical Society: This event honors our local Global War on Terror veterans, including Iraq and Afghanistan. The keynote speaker is retired Command Sergeant Major John Werner who served more than 40 years in the military. As Command Sergeant Major in the US Army Corps of Engineers, he commanded the unit that oversaw the construction that occurred in one half of Afghanistan.
