Rescue personnel extricate a person from the wreckage of a two-vehicle accident at 34th Avenue East and East Fourth Street in Duluth at midday Friday. Duluth police reported their initial investigation showed a vehicle driven by a 49-year-old woman was traveling north on 34th Avenue East about 12:30 p.m. when it collided with a car driven by a 44-year-old woman who was westbound on Fourth Street, making a right turn.
