Members of the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Volunteer Rescue Squad and the U.S. Coast Guard return to Park Point after checking the distant fishing house to see if anyone was in it on Tuesday morning. The agencies, along with Duluth firefighters and police responded to the area after a fisherman was seen on the ice beyond open water. That person was able to find a route on the ice back to shore.
